The village and around
Porrúa is a quiet village in the Llanes area. Right next door we have the Ethnographic Museum of Eastern Asturias and Bar La Bolera for the morning coffee, and the traditional Mercáu market in season.
The beaches are a stone's throw away: Barro, Palombina and Poo, among others.
And towards the hills is Mañanga, the green slope that wraps around the village: meadows, barns and stone walls, the land of cattle and of Porrúa's quesu (its local cheese). The Mañanga Trail (PR-AS 150) runs through it, an easy, signposted circular walk of about 7 km that leaves Porrúa and comes back to Porrúa.
Parking is easy: nearly always right by the building, and if not, there is a free public car park 350 metres away.
